Core Application

  • Primary Function: Used to monitor whether the main power supply or standby power supply is normal.

  • Emergency Operation: When the normal power supply fails, the standby power starts immediately to ensure the continuity, reliability, and safety of the power supply.

  • Installation: Specifically designed for household rail installation and optimized for use in PZ30 distribution boxes.

Technical Characteristics

  • Electrical Compatibility: Suitable for emergency power systems with 50Hz or 60Hz and a rated voltage of 400V AC.

  • Design: Features a solid structure with reliable conversion and is designed for a long service life.

  • Operation: Can be operated both electrically and manually.

  • Components: Composed of TSE (Transfer Switching Equipment) and a controller.

Standards and Compliance

  • Certification: Formulated according to GB/T14048.11, Part 6-1: Multifunctional equipment and switchgear.

  • Classification: Recognized as a qualified low-voltage switchgear and control device.

Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Operation and Installation

Normal Operation Time and Installation Conditions

  • Ambient air temperature:

    • The maximum temperature shall not exceed 40°C.

    • The minimum temperature shall not be lower than -5°C.

    • The average temperature within 24 hours shall not be higher than 35°C.

  • Altitude: The altitude of the installation site should not be higher than 2000m.

  • Atmospheric conditions:

    • When the maximum temperature reaches 40°C, the relative humidity of the installation site should not exceed 50%.

    • When the temperature is at the minimum (-5°C), higher relative humidity is allowed (e.g., 90% at 25°C).

    • Special measures should be taken to deal with occasional condensation on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.

  • Pollution grade: The pollution grade of ATS conforms to grade 3 specified in GB/T14048.11.

  • Installation category: The installation type of ATS conforms to the category specified in GB/T14048.11.

  • Installation conditions: ATS can be installed vertically in a control cabinet or distribution cabinet. Ensure the installation distance meets the requirements in Figure 1.
